Students interested in a
Biology
minor (see bottom of link) must add BIO 102 to their schedule in
order to satisfy requirements of the Biological Sciences department.
Pharmaceutical Track in Chemical Engineering
The pharmaceutical track was
approved on March
29, 2007.
Students enrolled in this curriculum follow a program
similar to the traditional chemical engineering curriculum, but with
biology, biochemistry, biomedical, and pharmaceutical courses
replacing some of the other technical and science courses.

Notes:
- A technical writing course is strongly recommended, such as WRT
104 "Writing to Inform and Explain".
- General Education courses must satisfy the requirements
of the university, listed in the catalog, with an
exception
that only three credits are required in the foreign language or culture component.
- Refer to list of
approved professional elective courses.
- Take BIO 341 if offered; otherwise take BCH 311.
Premedical students are recommended to take BIO 102, BCH 311, CHM 228, and
CHM 226.
