Dr. Donald J. Gray
Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering
Research Interests
  • Closed Loop Recycling Systems.
  • Metal Vapor Degreasing Systems.
  • Alternative Cleaning Solvents.
  • Vacuum Technology.

Research Information

Present work includes semiconductor and solar wafer processing and green chemistry metal processing systems. He has obtained a number of U.S. and foreign patents on closed loop metal processing, photo resist stripping, dry cleaning, and carbon desorption processes. The EPA has classified his processes as maximum achievable controlled technology, and his cleaning processes are presently used in the Mission to Mars program and widely used throughout the aerospace, microelectronics, and medical industries.
