Title: Research Collaboration and Internship Opportunities in Chemical Engineering
at Technische Universitat Braunschweig

Felix Wise and Florian, who are graduate students at Technische Universitat Braunschweig, will be presenting a description of the chemical engineering work done in Prof. Stephan Scholl's Institute, the Institut fur Chemische und Thermische Verfahrenstechnik (Institute for Chemical and Thermal Process Engineering). Their intent is to share information about possible projects that could be available for URI student internships and URI/TU-BS collaborations in the future.

Three URI undergraduate chemical engineers (John Alper, Ben Henry, and Derek Li) participated last summer in the RISe summer research internship program at TU-Braunschweig, sponsored by the German organiation DAAD. These internships were separate from the typical URI IEP program.

Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend the seminar since the Braunschweig are also here to encourage student exchanges.

If you'd like to meet with the visitors from Braunschweig, please contact Prof. Otto Gregory (gregory at egr.uri.edu).
