Biology Track in Chemical Engineering

The biology track was first introduced in 2005-2006. Students enrolled in this curriculum follow a program similar to the traditional chemical engineering curriculum, but with biology and biochemistry courses replacing some of the other technical courses.

A curriculum change to this program was approved on March 29, 2007. The updated curriculum is shown below. Courses recommended for different semesters than in the original curriculum are shown in blue.

The pharmaceutical track was approved on March 29, 2007. Students enrolled in this curriculum follow a program similar to the traditional chemical engineering curriculum, but with biology, biochemistry, biomedical, and pharmaceutical courses replacing some of the other technical and science courses.
