The senior lab course (CHE 345 and 346) provides hands-on
experience with a number of different experiments, such as the
Double Effect Evaporator;
here a group of seniors adjusts the controls.
Other experiments include the
Distillation Column
the Double Pipe Heat Exchanger
and many more experiments not shown here.
The second floor of Crawford includes a student lounge and a
PC Computer Lab, with wireless access
and additional connection ports for student laptops.
Students frequently discuss class problems and homework
there, and sometimes
they just hang out. If you're visiting the campus and would like to
meet student chemical engineers (especially juniors and seniors), it's
a good place to start.
CHE students are also welcome to use the
Engineering Computer Center.
