Dear ChE 212 students,

The information for the second portion of the project is finally ready and will be posted on-line momentarily. I've also attached the pdf file for convenience.

Each group has different amounts of solvent mixture S to use in your balances; these will differ from those on your flowsheets used in part 1. (Revise your flowsheets as necessary.) Each group also has a different temperature to use for the drug recovery in the product crystallizer and dryer.

This part of the project is due on Thursday December 4, 2008. This is the second to last class meeting. There will be a small third portion that focuses on energy balances. It will be distributed after the AIChE meeting.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. It will also be necessary to turn in your flowsheet, so I can follow the definitions of your variables.

While there is a lot of information, I know that you all can do it!
