One set of equations/topics that I forgot to mention in class yesterday is the topics related to the Carnot cycle, which was on several of your last homework problems.

Hi Sean,

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. Today we discussed ways to calculate H and S relative to a set H=0 and S=0 point, from the perspective of thermodynamics. One application is in calculating the heat of reaction at any temperature.

The new homework tomorrow will expand on that point. There will also be a quiz, but without a notecard.
