Cc: Arijit Bose , Don Gray Subject: Presentation by ChE Alum this coming Tuesday

Dear ChE 313 students,

Professor Bose and I have agreed to a slight change in schedule for next week. Both classes on Tuesday will be replaced by a discussion with URI Chemical Engineering alumnae Nicole Whittier, who works at Applied Science Associates in Narragansett. Professor Gray has organized this event for the seniors, and he has invited the juniors and sophomores to attend too.

Nicole provided this description for the presentation that she will be making from 9:30-12:30 on April 4th:

> The presentation will consist of a bit about what I do, how current > events are a large part of my job, options for different size companies, > consulting vs. industry, and different industry opportunities that are > out there.

I'll let you know the room number. Please note the early start compared to class time (9:30, not 10:00).

Finally, for CHE 313 we will modify the Wednesday lab section a bit next week so it will include a quiz, some lecture material, and some problem solving at the end.
