Nitride-based Ceramics and Semiconductors.

Hot Corrosion/Oxidation of Ceramics and Refractory Metals.
Thin Film Sensors; Temperature, Strain and Heat Flux.

Research Information
 Dr. Gregory's work has appeared in numerous professional journals including: The Journal of the Electrochemical Society, Journal of American Ceramic Society, Applied Physics Letters, Thin Solid Films, Surface and Coatings Technology, Materials Letters, Journal of Materials Science, and others. He has written a chapter in an ACS text entitled "Integrated Circuits: Physical and Chemical Processing". Dr. Gregory has received two Fellowships from the U.S. Army Electronics Technology and Device Laboratory and presently holds seven U.S. patents. He has received two College of Engineering Research Excellence Awards.
