Engineering scholarships are given out each year and are based either on academic merit, financial need or both. Financial need is determined by the University and requires the submission of a completed FAFSA form annually. To be considered for a scholarship, please send an e-mail including your name; current year at URI; major; GPA; a brief statement telling us about yourself and how a scholarshipwill benefit you personally; and a current resume to: coe @egr.uri.edu.
Ambassadors are COE student leaders who actively represent the COE to alumni, industry professionals, prospective students andparents by participating in COE events such as the Engineering Career Fair, Awards Banquets, commencement activities, and student recruitment efforts. Ambassadors are selected annually and receive scholarship funds.
