Engineering Living and Learning Community (ELLC)

THE place to be at URI - the COE Engineering Living and Learning Community!!!

The COE ELLC began in 2006 to provide a unique freshmen living environment that promotes personal growth and academic success - one that you don't want to miss.

Student Organizations

There are many student organizations to get involved with on campus. In Engineering, there are student chapters of the various professional engineering societies, College-wide student engineering organizations, and Honor Societies in each department, as well as interdisciplinary organizations crossing those boundaries. In addition, the College also has the Theta Tau Engineering Professional Fraternity.

Ambassadors are COE student leaders who actively represent the COE to alumni, industry professionals, prospective students, and parents by participating in COE events such as the Engineering Career Fair, Awards Banquets, commencement activities, and student recruitment efforts. Ambassadors are selected annually and receive scholarship funds.
