Summary

Dr. Jones has worked at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Newport RI for over 30 years. He is currently the Associate Director for Science and Technology at the center. He is particularly interested in Unmanned Undersea Vehicles. Over the years he has worked on both hardware and software development of undersea vehicles, including autonomous control, navigation, pre-run simulation systems for mission planning, post-run analysis systems and data recording systems.

Dr. Jones teaches part-time at the university.
