Summary

Winston Knight has over thirty-five years of teaching and research experience in the area of manufacturing engineering at universites in the UK and USA. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the UK Science Research Council, and industry.

Co-author of several text books including: Group Technology; Group Technology Production Methods in Manufacture; Fundamentals of Machining and Machine Tools, and Product Design for Manufacture and Assembly. He has published over 120 research papers in journals and conferences and made over 150 presentations to industry and so on.

Dr. Knight is a Fellow of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and an Active (Full) Member of the International Institution for Production Engineering Research (CIRP).
