Project Description: The candidate will work on typical Industrial Engineering tasks
mostly related to production capacity and associate workloads. The student
should be far enough along in their education to have knowledge of the
Industrial Engineering function within a manufacturing environment such as machine capacity analysis, development of standard data for
repetitive operations, updates to plant layouts using AutoCAD including
development of an equipment drawing library.
Pay rate: $13.00/hr
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 4:00
PM with an unpaid hour for lunch
Duties:
* Verification of machine cycle times required for development of theoretical capacity.
* Analysis of machine downtime including data collection required to determine machine capability.
* Analysis of current changeover/setup methods required to identify areas of improvement opportunity.
* Development of standard time data for repetitive elements such as machine operations and material handling.
