Location: Wilmington, DE (relocation possible)
Position: Industrial Engineer
Description
§ Develop capacity analysis using process simulation software and improve product cycle times by implementing line balancing.
§ Participate in proposal and quotation development in developing labor standards, analyzing variances to standards and flow rates and implementing improvement programs.
§ Analyze performance variances (labor, schedule, support, etc.) and take/recommend corrective action.
§ Establish/Maintain labor standards.
§ Provide production estimates (labor, floor space, capital equipment, capacity, etc.) for proposal.
§ Analyze complex process flows and develop simulation models to maximize operational efficiencies.
§ Perform line balancing for sensor assembly, PWA, and electromechanical final assembly and test areas.
§ Create and implement new Plant Layouts, including process flow diagrams.
§ Utilize Lean techniques to Implement cycle time measurement and reduction program.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent with 7+ years of IE experience
2. Must have experience line balancing and designing production processes using flow rates.
3. Must have experience using simulation software (preferably ProModel)
4. Experience using AutoCad and facility layouts.
5. ERP experience (SAP) preferred.
