Welcome to the University of Rhode Island Cricket Club - URICC

Our cricket season starts during the summer of every year and extends untill it gets unplayably cold. URI used to host a cricket tournament during the 90's, thanks to a bunch of cricket enthusiasts who founded the club. The tournament is conducted now by St.Columbas Cricket Club in Newport. The core of our players comprise of students and professionals in and around Kingston who play with great passion and true spirit. There is no annual fee or membership fee. We play for the fun and spirit of the game. We welcome people who want to join us and become a part of our team. We will also be glad to play with teams from other schools/clubs.
